THE DETAILS
Helenna Santos-Levy is an actor, new media producer, and the founder and editor-in-chief of Ms. In The Biz - a new magazine style blog for women in entertainment who are looking for a positive community and shared wisdom to help foster success.
She is a multicultural hybrid of Filipino, Russian, and German heritage, a dual US and Canadian citizen, and spent her early years in Singapore, the Philippines, and Vancouver, BC Canada. A trained jazz singer with a BFA in Acting, Helenna has appeared in a wide variety of projects from feature films such as Universal’s “American Reunion,” opposite Mena Suvari and Chris Klein to high profile digital productions like the Anthony E. Zuiker (creator of C.S.I) produced “Black Box TV” as well as a number of network television series. She is a member of the IAWTV (International Academy of Web Television), as well as Geek Girls Create, and can often be found on panels and in appearances at conventions such as WonderCon, Comic-Con, and Stan Lee’s Comikaze. FUN FACTS: Helenna loves zombie flicks, listens somewhat obsessively to “The Doors,” and thinks that Joss Whedon’s collection of works should be required viewing. Helenna “has a smile that won’t quit. [Her] acting is every bit as good or better than you will find on sit-coms that are on TV everyday. Take a look. You won’t be sorry.” -Terra King, Article from Examiner.com “Helenna is professional, hard-working, and a pleasure to be on set with. She’s funny and intuitive and really understands how to interpret comedic material. Her timing is impeccable.” - Jennifer Rice Genzuk (executive producer/writer “Slou, Foot, and Doucha” and staff writer for BET’s “The Game” Sign up for Helenna's Updates!
